There she met Cora's father and fell for him due to his unusual appearance. The love their shared burned bright and fast, but once Cora was born it faded. Her father wasn't ready to settle and neither was her mother, so they left her in the hands of her father's brother. He raised her along side his own cyclops children until she reached the age of eighteen.
She'd never understood why, but she's always had a high sexual drive and a need for physical contact. If she's left alone, over the course of a few days she would get sluggish and feel incredibly sick. Cora still doesn't fully understand why, but she learned that she needs physical contact. It's easy for her to 'feed' due to her being an extreme extrovert.
